1) Is DTF printing profitable?

2) Why is my DTF print not sticking?
If your DTF (Direct-to-Film) print is not sticking, the problem is usually related to heat, pressure, powder, curing, fabric preparation, or application technique.
3) How durable is DTF printing on apparel?
DTF transfers are extremely durable. When properly cured and pressed, prints can withstand 50+ washes without cracking, fading, or peeling off the garment.
4) What is a gang sheet?
A gang sheet is a layout that arranges multiple designs, logos, or graphics onto a single sheet of transfer film. By grouping (“ganging”) different sizes and styles together, it maximizes space, cuts down on material waste, and lowers printing costs. While most popular in DTF printing, the concept is also widely used in screen printing and sublimation.
5) What does DTF feel like?
It feels like a thin, smooth, and flexible layer sitting slightly on top of the shirt. This soft, elastic feel allows the print to stretch naturally with the fabric and return to its original shape without cracking or lifting at the edges. Unlike rough or low-quality prints, it does not feel scratchy, powdery, or stiff. The TPU powder acts as a flexible bonding layer, helping a high-quality DTF print maintain its durability, softness, and stretchability while moving naturally with the garment.
6) What consumables and supporting equipment are required to run a complete HW30 workflow?

To produce finished transfers with the HW30, you will need:

  • DTF PET Film (Roll or sheet format suited for A3 printing)
  • CMYK + White DTF Pigment Ink
  • TPU Adhesive Powder (applied after printing)
  • A Powder Shaker/Curing setup or standalone Curing Oven
  • A Heat Press Machine for final garment application
