PRODUCT DETAILS

Features

Adopting advanced board control technology, equipped with 16 i3200 – A1 print heads and 3.5pl ink droplets. Industrial grade design ensures the durability of the print head. A new automated production solution with a high – strength fully enclosed industrial design structure, using a digital printing machine to accurately print specialized ink and glue onto the surface of the gold film material according to pattern requirements, forming desired pattern or color. After the printing is completed, the gold film is attached to the fabric using heat transfer printing technology, giving the pattern a golden texture and achieving purpose of gold wrapping.

FAQs:

1) What are the main applications for foil sublimation?

This technology is essential for high-margin products, including:

  • Sportswear: High-shine metallic logos and numbers on jerseys.
  • Fashion: Gold and silver foil accents on dresses and streetwear.
  • Home Decor: Luxury patterns on velvet cushions and curtains.
  • Swimwear: Durable, chlorine-resistant metallic finishes.
2) Is foil sublimation printing durable?

Yes. The transferred design becomes part of the fabric, making it:

  • Resistant to fading
  • Crack-proof
  • Highly wash durable
3) What inks are required for foil sublimation?

You must use high-concentration heat transfer sublimation inks, specifically formulated to:

  • Vaporize efficiently under heat
  • Bond permanently with polyester surfaces
  • Deliver vibrant and stable colors for metallic layering
4) Can this printer handle bulk textile orders?
Yes. The Holdwin-1916F is engineered for high-volume production, supporting continuous roll-to-roll printing and 24/7 industrial cycles.
5) What is the foil sublimation process step by step?

The industrial workflow for foil sublimation is:

  1. Print the design onto transfer paper using sublimation ink.
  2. Transfer the design onto the substrate using a heat press.
  3. Apply the foil layer with a specialized adhesive.
  4. Heat press again to bond the foil to the printed areas.
  5. Peel the foil carrier to reveal the high-shine metallic effect.
