The Function of A Film (The Printing Base)

Key Feature: One side is coated with a special adhesive layer and a release coating. You print your design directly onto this sticky side.

When to Use: used during printing stage.

The Role of B Film (The Transfer/Positioning Film)

Key Feature: It picks up the printed design from the A film and ensures the design stays perfectly aligned during application.

When to Use: used during lamination stage.

How UV DTF AB Film Works (Step-by-Step):

• Printing: The design is printed onto the A film. The UV light from your printer immediately cures the ink.
• Lamination: The printed A film and the B film are passed through a cold laminator, allowing the B film to adhere to the printed image.
• Preparation: Individual stickers are cut out from the laminated sheet.
• Transfer: The A film is peeled away (revealing the back of the print), the sticker is pressed onto your object (such as a mug or phone case), and it is rubbed firmly.
• Finishing: The B film is removed, leaving only the raised, high-gloss “crystal” design on the object.
